Wednesday, August 26 Whale Watching Report 🐋☀️
What an absolutely beautiful day on the ocean! We had a sold-out crowd aboard the Jersey Girl and headed north toward the Sandy Hook area, where the whales have been consistently feeding.
We searched a little farther offshore toward the Ambrose Channel before working our way back in toward the northern end of Sea Bright. We had to put in a little extra time to locate the whale, but the patience paid off when we found an active humpback whale and everyone aboard was thrilled to get some great looks.
Along the way, we also spotted a mola mola (ocean sunfish) and stopped to pick up some balloons floating in the ocean. Beautiful seas, beautiful weather, a sold-out boat, and another successful day of whale watching off the Jersey Shore! 🐋🌊
