Thursday’s Whale Watching Report
Jersey Shore Whale Watch
Monmouth County, NJ
Today we saw a large pod of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and we saw one humpback whale.
It was a beautiful day out on the ocean today! We spotted a very large, active pod of dolphins as soon as we got out in the ocean. After getting plenty of photos of the dolphins, we headed north towards Asbury Park. It wasn’t long before we found a humpback whale. The whale gave us plenty of photo opportunities as he remained pretty close to the surface the whole time. There was also an abundance of bunker all around. Bunker fish are Atlantic menhaden, small fish that school together that the whales love to feed on. Everyone had a great time! Don’t miss out, book your trip with us soon! Whale watching is a fun family event. It’s good for all ages from very young children to seniors, everyone enjoys a day on the ocean. Beautiful weather, seeing whales and dolphins off the coast of Belmar, Avon, Asbury Park, all across New Jersey. The boat is handicap accessible, with two full-size bathrooms and a kitchen, you can buy snacks on board and your own food and drinks. Call us today at 732.450.6003 or book online.
