**Whale Watching Trip Report: Saturday, October 19**
On Saturday, October 19, Jersey Shore Whale Watch had another fantastic trip! We headed south toward the **Point Pleasant** area and were thrilled to spot a **humpback whale** just about two miles offshore, near the buoy at the **Manasquan-Point Pleasant** border. The excitement was palpable among the crowd, especially on such a **beautiful, warm October day**. It was the perfect weather for an adventure on the water, and everyone had a great time capturing stunning photos of the whale.
As we continued our journey, we encountered a large school of **dolphins**, playfully frolicking in the surf closer to the beach near **Manasquan**. Watching these dolphins in their natural habitat added to the thrill of the day, making for an unforgettable experience. From there, we cruised along the Jersey coastline, passing through **Spring Lake** and **Belmar**, before heading back to the dock after a smooth, three-hour tour.
With about **50 passengers** on board, the boat wasn’t crowded, allowing everyone to comfortably take photos and enjoy the views. We had plenty of photography enthusiasts on board—whether using **Nikon or Canon cameras**, or simply snapping shots on their cell phones, it was clear that many of our guests have embraced their inner photographers. It’s amazing to see how much joy whale watching brings, especially as people capture these magical moments on camera.
