Belmar, New Jersey
We had a bubble feeder today!
Today’s lucky passengers aboard the Jersey Girl witnessed one of the ocean’s most amazing sights — a juvenile humpback whale bubble feeding! This fascinating behavior happens when a whale releases a spiral of bubbles to trap schools of bait fish, then lunges up through the middle to feed.
The ocean was alive with action — several bluefin tuna sightings, diving gannets, and the shimmering fall sunlight along the coast. We cruised past Manasquan and Point Pleasant, then along the Spring Lake and Belmar beachfronts, where the late-afternoon sun lit up the waves in gold.

It was a picture-perfect fall day on the Jersey Shore — incredible wildlife, calm seas, and another unforgettable trip aboard the Jersey Girl.
