There I was, standing on the deck, the salty breeze teasing excitement in the air, watching the iconic NYC skyline stand tall behind us—a silent companion to our adventure. Today, August 13, 2025, aboard Jersey Shore Whale Watch, we set course for Ambrose Channel with a promise of discovery. And discovery is exactly what unfolded.

The Whale Call: Nature’s Invitation

Guests leaned forward, ears tuned to the sea’s whisper: “On today’s trip, we travelled all the way up to Ambrose Channel to find TWO humpback whales! Passengers enjoyed views of the NYC skyline the entire time.” One whale, clearly playful, tail-threw multiple times, dancing with schools of bunker in a mesmerizing ballet.
