On May 25, 2025, the Jersey Shore Whale Watch tour offered an unforgettable experience along the picturesque New Jersey coastline. Departing from Belmar Marina, the journey provided stunning views of Sea Girt and Bay Head, showcasing their pristine beaches and charming seaside architecture.
The day began with a 9:30 AM 2-hour tour, where guests were delighted by an exhilarating sighting of bottlenose dolphins. The excitement continued on the 12:30 PM 3-hour trip, featuring a humpback whale engaging in lunge feeding—a spectacular display of nature’s power. Numerous dolphins were seen interacting with the whale, surfing across its rostrum, adding to the wonder of the experience.
Throughout the journey, the serene beauty of Sea Girt’s historic lighthouse and Bay Head’s well-preserved dunes provided a picturesque backdrop, enhancing the overall experience.
All photos were captured using telephoto lenses from a respectful distance. Jersey Shore Whale Watch adheres to Whale SENSE guidelines, maintaining a minimum distance of 100 feet from whales and 150 feet from dolphins to ensure their safety and comfort.
