**Trip Update: Sunday, November 10**
Sunday was one of those rare days where nature kept us guessing! Despite our best efforts, we didn’t spot any whales or dolphins. We traveled from Belmar all the way down to Seaside Heights, turned around at Island Beach State Park, and even went three miles offshore hoping for a lucky sighting. On the way back, we explored up to Asbury Park before heading back to Belmar. Some days, the ocean simply has its own plans, and this was one of those days where sightings just didn’t work out.
It was an overcast, cloudy day—not the best for visibility, but we made the most of it. As always, everyone on board received a free trip to come back and try again for that magical experience with our ocean friends.
We’re still in the season with trips running on weekends, and we have one more 12-hour offshore trip and an 8-hour birding trip on the schedule. Regular trips will continue on Saturdays, and you can already book tickets for the 2025 season.
We’re hopeful that New Jersey Transit will get the bridge signal fixed in Belmar soon to avoid delays like the one we had getting back. Thank you for joining us, and we look forward to seeing you on board again for better weather and great sightings!
