October 23, 2024 – Whale Watching Report

What a stunning day out on the water along the beautiful New Jersey coastline! Today, we were treated to incredible whale sightings in Bradley Beach, Asbury Park, and Deal, NJ. The coastline was absolutely picturesque, and the experience was nothing short of amazing.

On the return trip, some lucky passengers witnessed dolphins riding in the wake of our boat as we passed through the Allenhurst and Long Branch areas, giving everyone a close-up view of the oceanfront mansions that line the shore. It’s always a treat to combine the thrill of marine wildlife with the scenic beauty of our coastline.

We even spotted an osprey at the Shark River, right by the historic old Coast Guard station in Avon-by-the-Sea, adding to the excitement of the day.

Our two young humpback whales were particularly active today, feeding on the abundance of menhaden in the area. With striper fleets nearby, we remind everyone to be cautious of these magnificent creatures as they weave in and out of the boats.
